Jill's Studio of Dance was honored at the Company Dance Faculty Choice Awards on the evening of June 30, 2011 at the Grand Ballroom of the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. This red carpet event is the highlight of the week where select performances compete for top honors as selected by the Comapny Dance faculty. Jill's Studio of Dance also took home the title of "Teen Performance of the Year" with their performance to "Android Army".

Jill Hasty McNew, owner and director of Jill's Studio of Dance in Huntsville, Alabama, opened her doors for business in 1995. Since that time, her goal has been to give her students the best in dance education through her teaching, training, and love of the art. Jill has been doing that and much more as evidenced by her studio's recent wins at the 2011 Company Dance National Finals.
